I'd also appreciate any feelings you folks might have on MariaDB versus MySQL (This is a Dell system./srv//6/#ubuntu.txt /srv//6/#ubuntu.txt sneakyimpĬan someone tell me if Ubuntu 18.04 installs MySQL or MariaDB when you do a package install for "mysql-server" ? I have good image of my boot disk, (well at least it verified and completed without errors.) I booted from my Reflect rescue USB and selected my image to copy all 3 partitions to my destination 1tb WD1003FZEX. I tried the following to get around my problem. I tried to clone using the rescue disk to do the clone and the same error occurred. Try using the command: chkdsk c: /r /f to try to reallocate any bad sectors on the disk you are cloning from. At one time though there were 8kb in bad sectors corrected several months back. Any ideas what might be causing this? I have run chkdsk c: /F and no current errors are found. This is occurring when copying the C partition during the cloning. I've tried cloning using Macrium through Windows 7 and booting off rescue USB.

(I'm replacing my system disk.) I'm running Windows 7 64bit. I'm trying to clone a 1tb hard drive to another 1tb hard drive. I'm using Macrium Reflect V5.3 Build 7310.
